This privacy policy covers the maelstrom.au website, operated by Maelstrom AI Pty Ltd ATF Maelstrom AI Holding Trust (ABN 61 633 823 792). It does not cover our products or services, which have their own privacy policies.
What this website collects
Very little.

- No analytics services (Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar) are used
- No third-party scripts that track visitors are loaded
- No forms collect personal information
- No user accounts exist on this website
Hosting and infrastructure
This website is served via Cloudflare's content delivery network using Cloudflare Workers. As part of standard web serving, Cloudflare processes connection metadata including IP addresses and request headers. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in new tab).
We do not have access to individual visitor IP addresses or request logs from this website. Cloudflare provides aggregated analytics (page views, top countries) but no personally identifiable information.
Email contact
If you contact us via email, we will hold your email address and message content for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. We do not add contacts to mailing lists, share contact information with third parties, or use it for any purpose beyond responding to your message. For privacy matters specifically, write to privacy@maelstrom.au.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data collected through this website. We do not use advertising networks. We do not engage in data brokering.

Given the minimal data collection of this website, there is unlikely to be personal data to access, correct, or delete.
If you are in the EU or the UK (GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, the controller for this website and for our products' commercial records is Maelstrom AI Pty Ltd (ACN 679 356 702), as trustee for Maelstrom AI Holding Trust, an Australian company. We have not yet appointed an EU or UK representative; if we appoint one we will name them here. Privacy requests for any of our products or sites go to privacy@maelstrom.au, which is handled as a privacy request from the moment it arrives.
The only personal data this website leads to is the email correspondence you choose to send us. We process it under our legitimate interests in answering you (Article 6(1)(f)), or under Article 6(1)(b) where your enquiry leads towards a contract. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, free of charge, answered within one month; and you may complain to the supervisory authority in your member state or to the UK Information Commissioner's Office, as well as to the OAIC. Australia does not hold an EU adequacy decision; the correspondence you send us is collected by us directly, and our email is hosted with Proton in Switzerland, which does hold one.
Each product's own privacy policy covers its commercial records: see the Provii Wallet privacy policy and the downpipes privacy policy. For data our self-hosted products back up in your own infrastructure, we are neither controller nor processor, because no copy of it ever reaches us.
